Daily Musings In The Studio

December was an absolutely fantastic month, marking the beginning of an exciting new journey for my art! It kicked off with the thrilling news of my acceptance into my very first juried art show. After years of hesitation, I finally decided last month that it was time to submit my work. I kept my application a secret to avoid the daily pressure of people asking about my acceptance status, so the day the confirmation email arrived felt incredibly rewarding. I was accepted into a competitive show with only 17 spots available at the beautiful and well-known Herberger Theater! I was so overcome with joy that I shed happy tears. The artist reception was amazing; seeing my piece displayed alongside so much beautiful art in the crowded lobby was a truly unforgettable experience on December 5th. This success has given me the confidence to enter more shows moving forward.
